Architecture in Motion

In collaboration with Vicky Achnani

The workshop looked for architecture that is flexible and demands lightness, without compromising on strength and mobility, looking into composite materials, with the best characteristics and material properties. It focused on designing, detailing, prototyping and true scale execution of a built form. It explored various deployable systems through models which were then realized on an actual scale. With on site construction workers as the main audience, the design aims to only use items available at ease, in a short radius and on an everyday basis with a tight budget. Model was a tool to design, explore and communicate, from problem framing to experimentation.

Tools: SketchUp, AutoCAD, Fabrication Tools
